Visiting Fellows

The Higher Education Cell, Centre for
the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore, is looking for an Associate to conduct
training programmes under its Social Justice and Networked Higher Education Initiatives.
The candidate should be under 35 years of age and have good knowledge of computer
applications and web technologies. Ability to communicate effectively with undergraduate
students is a pre-requisite. The job involves working closely with colleges in
three states in the southern and western regions, helping to conduct training
workshops in web and multimedia technologies for undergraduate students and teachers,
and building and sustaining e-learning communities. The job is based in Bangalore
but involves a fair amount of travel within the country. Experience in teaching/research
in the higher education sector would be an additional qualification.
Consolidated honorarium will be in the range of 18,000-20,000 per month commensurate
